RAQUEL ALLEGRA LABEL COMING TO ADL SOON!

 

Designer and musician Raquel Allegra originally moved to Los Angeles to pursue her singing career, while working her requisite day job on the floor at Barnerys New York. Her clients often asked her about the vintage tees she redesigned and wore. These discerning clothing connoisseurs quickly formed a ravenous Raquel Allegra following. As the demand grew and the designer needed a more steady supply of tees, she discovered what would become the trademark of her bourgeoning line, namely cast off prison tees from LA County Jail. These individually hand-dyed and deconstructed pieces have been featured on the pages of Vogue and Elle, and are worn by tastemakers including Agyness Dean, Kate Moss, The Olsens, Erin Wasson and Kate Lanphear.

What this Blog is about…

 

…yes, of course its about advertising my alexandra del lago store and letting you know what just came in, what is coming, what I’m working on and what I’m lusting after… however I would also like to make it a space where you can get inspired by fashion.. a space where I’ll share what and who inspires me.. about what is happening overseas –as that IS where it is ALL happening really! Nothing against SA, I love this country with all my being! There is no better place to live than right here, but lets face it- fashion is not one of our forte!!
